>No. They're telling you that when the moment is right, act a better.. yourself. >As in: 'Don't let influences of mistakes of others tear down your catalyst for a good time; don't regret what you do. Seize the moment for what it is no major but the concept of this seems sortof pointless, a lot of bands nowadays use motivational things to try and influence people listening to them for the fact they're trying to well, motivate you. to be quite honest i'm not interested too much in lyrics nowadays for the sole fact it's slandered full of generic concepts taken in a... sadly, overused yet realistic manner. and when it's put into a shitty, simple beat with some faggot thinking he's hot shit (looking at you, hollywood undead) that doesn't help my point of view towards him much. lyrics are silly unless it actually has a neat layout with the lyrics (the fratellis!) or have the weirdest fucking meanings and vocabulary you could imagine (the mars volta, massive attack)

But I like them for their simplicity. They aren't fake, though. I can tell you that. They don't mean to motivate; they're basically telling stories with their lyrics. I just know how to breakdown and find the indirect meaning. And that's why I love them. //

On a related note, the king of resonance = Bob Dylan. Blood on the Tracks ftw.

straf, really? No. I fucking believe in this mess. Why don't you trust my ideas? Why are you so spiteful towards me nowadays? The hell? Bro, you shouldn't doubt people. You shouldn't doubt people. You shouldn't doubt people. You shouldn't doubt people. Don't doubt people. Doubt annoys me.. //

I'm not being spiteful. I just pointed out that anyone can find "meanings" in things, true or not.
Also, you're just like Eeyore. Seriously. You can't deny it.

Who is "Eeyore"? And no: I seriously believe in them. Their simplicity can be slightly more complicated once thought about. And that's why I love them. I fucking love them, straf.. //

How the hell am I like Eeyore?.. I'm not sad all the time. It's just at about around this time, I get out of my "school facade" and work my way into my own creation. //

But Eeyore isn't sad all the time.
You're an Eeyore. Nothing goes right, so why try. You're miserable and want everyone else to be miserable. You complain and focus only on the negative, ignoring all of the good moments that pass you by and hang onto what actually goes wrong.
Eeyore, the old grey Donkey, stood by the side of the stream, and looked at himself in the water. "Pathetic," he said. "That's what it is. Pathetic." He turned and walked slowly down the stream for twenty yards, splashed across it, and walked slowly back on the other side. Then he looked at himself in the water again. "As I thought," he said. "No better from this side. But nobody minds. Nobody cares. Pathetic, that's what it is."

straf, you don't know how complex my internet/real persona's are. Truthfully, you have no idea what I am. I was optimistic about explaining my(what I thought, though you denied me my thoughts)thoughts on BOTDF. I'm optimistic.. when the moment calls for it.. When the moment calls--I'm optimistic. //
